The Heath
A contemporary literary magazine inspired by the quiet, moody essence of moorland landscapes and the secrets whispered across the heathens.
ABOUT US:
The Heath.
Salutations, dearest reader, and welcome to The Heath. For too long, young voices have been told to wait: to grow older, quieter, more certain before they dare to write. We don’t believe that. At The Heath, no voice is too early, too unsure, nor too much. Words are not trimmed to fit a drawing room; they are allowed to wander, to rage, to ache. Literature belongs to those brave enough to begin.
The Heath is for our Cathys and our Isabellas, for our Nellies who witness and remember, for our Haretons who are told they are less and prove otherwise, and even for our Edgars who love quietly and deeply. It is for the fierce, the overlooked, the steadfast, and the uncertain. On these pages, no one is too wild or too gentle to be heard. This is not a place of locked gates and guarded names. It is open ground.

“He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."
Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights
